Value and Site Changelog
This log records what changed, when, and why, value and demand edits, roster corrections, and changes to the calculator itself. It starts at the first tracked dataset revision, so there is no history here from before the point where we began recording one.
Value and demand changes
No value or demand figure has changed yet. Revision 2026-09-07 is the first one we tracked, so every number on the site is at its originally recorded figure and there is nothing to compare against. Back-filling plausible-looking history for the months before we started recording would be inventing a record, so this section stays empty until a real change happens.
A value change appears here as a dated line naming the fruit, the old and new number, and what prompted the change, and the same entry shows against that fruit in the database itself.

Everything below is a change to the data as a whole, the calculator, or the site's structure, rather than an edit to one fruit's numbers.

How this log stays honest
Value entries are generated from the dataset rather than written here separately. Each fruit carries its own recorded change history in the data file, and this page reads from that, so a value change cannot appear in the log unless the underlying data records it, and it cannot be quietly removed from one place while remaining in the other.
Dataset, tool and site entries above are written by hand, because no file can detect that a page was rewritten. Those lines name the specific change instead of summarising a period of work, which is the difference between a log and a progress report.
What counts as a reason to revisit values in the first place is set out in the process behind these numbers, and the current revision stamp shown on the value pages always matches the newest dataset entry here. If those two ever disagree, the site has a bug, the calculator reads the same stamp from the same file.
